About

Shane Stent

real estate consultant

I was born and raised in Woodside where I attended elementary school and explored every nook and cranny of the surrounding horse trails. Growing up in Woodside gave me a great passion for the outdoors and the natural beauty of the place where we live.

After attending Menlo School for high school, I attended UC Davis where I majored in English and played on the men's volleyball team. A passion for the outdoors and photography took me to Idaho after graduation where I was fortunate to work with a non-profit dedicated to teaching about the gray wolf. The film producer who founded the organization used me as a second camera for his newest movie and also had me photograph during our visits to the wolves. Truly an enriching experience.

After Idaho, I spent time in Oregon and worked for Nike. While at Nike, I managed a group in US Sports Marketing that took care of all the inventory for a variety of sports. My greatest accomplishments, involved implementing systems, developing relations both externally and internally and managing a team of professionals striving for a common goal.

I moved home and was fortunate to be able to join one of the top professional real estate agents in the area. With a long family history in real estate, my business partner was able to mentor me in the finer aspects of luxury real estate on the San Francisco Peninsula. She taught me the systems needed to track millions of dollars in sales, she showed me negotiation tactics that kept the clients needs as top priority and demonstrated a level of professionalism and courtesy not often found in this business. After several action packed years, we decided to part ways and this has lead me to carry on my own tradition of fair and honest dealings.
